Meals on Wheels London is governed by a group of dedicated community members who donate their time to ensure our mission and vision are upheld.
Leigh Folliott
Board President
In 2004 Leigh began delivering meals as a volunteer, four months later he was elected to the Board. He is a retired Chartered Accountant.
Kevin Barry
Vice President
Kevin joined in 2008 because of the organization's philosophy and the opportunity to support a truly London focused volunteer service group. He is a manager at GoodLife Fitness.
Christian Bullas
Treasurer
Christian shares the philosophy of enabling seniors to remain in their own homes and was elected to the Board in 2009. Christian is the Director of Senior Homecare by Angels.
Janet Groen
Secretary
Janet is a registered dietician and is the Executive Director at Elmwood Place. Joining the Board in 2008, her background in nutrition is a great asset.
Gail Stark
Director/Executive
Gail joined the Board in 2010 bringing a special passion to the organization. Her father, Dr. Earl Russell was the founder of Meals on Wheels in 1969. She is an Escalation Specialist.
Samira El-Hindi
Director
In 2002 Samira began delivering meals. She was approached to join the Board in 2007 due to her experience with local hospitals and charities in London.
Dean Radloff
Director
Retired from the Canada Revenue Agency, Dean joined the Board in 2009. He also helps with meal deliveries.
Mark Okonski
Director
Mark is an Accountant with Canada Revenue Agency. He joined the Board in 2009 and also helps with fund-raising events.
Ron Olson
Director
Ron's educational background and leadership skills have been an asset to the Board since 2007.
Eric Beriault
Director
Eric began in 2002 as a meal delivery volunteer. Believing strongly in what the agency does he joined the Board in 2010.
Ginny Poon
Director
Ginny was a member of the Board from 2003 to 2008, recently returning in 2010. She is an investment advisor with BMO Nesbitt Burns.
Shannon Bain
Director
Shannon joined the board in 2011, as a way to give back to her local community. She is a program manager with the Ministry of Children and Youth Services, at CPRI.
Hugh John
Director
Since his start in 2001 Hugh John has held positions as a volunteer, a Director and as President of the Board. He feels MOWL is a very valuable function in the community. It gives him great pride and pleasure to contribute to its continued success.
Laurel Hevenor Vallance
Ex-Officio
Laurel began with the agency in the role of Quality Manager moving to Executive Director of Meals on Wheels London in January 2005.
