Help Us Walk Towards Independence!

Meals on Wheels London will host its annual “Walk for Wheels” event upstairs at the Covent Garden Market on Friday March 30, 2012 from 2-4pm.  Over 100 participants are expected and we’ve set a goal to raise $20, 000.

During this lively and fun filled afternoon enjoy refreshments, entertainment, door prizes, and a silent auction.

As we strive to meet the meal and transportation needs of our community we depend on the generosity of individuals to help us with increased costs.  Our objective is a community where more people are able to live independently in their own homes.  Consider joining us this year—mark your calendars for March 30th!

Meals on Wheels – Sponsor Edition!

The Sponsor Edition fundraiser is an event that provides the best meal you’ll ever receive, the one that keeps on giving.  For every fresh and nutritious meal you purchase, you directly sponsor a meal for someone who can’t otherwise afford it.  It’s simple; you get a meal, and someone else gets a meal.

Here's how it works: Staff at your office place an order, and we deliver a delicious meal that you can enjoy for lunch or take home for dinner.  Meals are delivered chilled to your business between 9am and 4pm.  Meal cost is $10.  You can participate by ordering meals, delivering meals, or packaging meals the day of the event. 

Money raised from these events supports the client subsidy program helping those on fixed and limited incomes afford our meal services.
